I came up with the same conclusion about horses. I think the value laid in the horse's intelligence/training. Will it stand in a snow drift to await rescue by it's human partner? Will it stayed ground hitched?
y question is-what L'amour books had dogs that were named? If you like dog breeds-I saw two Klee Kai or Kias at my vets. Very interesting looking.

Your blog is the 4th today.com blog I've run across today that didn't have the entrecard drop box. I wonder if the problem is with viewing it on my end or if something else is going on. Just wanted to let you know I dropped by.

I read a few Louis L'amour books in high school upon the recommendation of a few of my classmates. I enjoyed them, but certainly noticed the "sign of the times". I just took it in the context it was used and didn't worry about whether it was politically correct. That's the only way I can enjoy something as entertainment.

Fascinating about them being meta clues. I'm not sure I would have picked up on that by myself.
